This track mount is perfect for fishermen who like the versatility of being able to move their rod holder units to many different locations. The track mount will slide into the track and lock it in position by tightening the two thumbscrews.
We recommend this with Ciscos Sure-Stop Track as it was designed to slide into and through the track as smooth as possible. This unit is compatible with Berts, Traxstech and Tite-lok track systems.
Bought for mounting Cannon downriggers and have only used them one trip but seem rock solid. The only movement was in the Cannon swivel base itself. Came pre-assembled with Cannon adapter plate which I didn't expect, so less work for me. Time will tell if the mount or track loosen up but seems like a quality product that will last for years.
